Rivers Are Life

Rivers are Life is a platform created to build a human connection with rivers around the world and inspire action to improve, protect and preserve them.

The National Extension Climate Initiative (NECI)
serves to link climate change-related education and
research across Extension program areas and associations.

Global Water First

Global Water First provides and installs a fully functioning wholesale water purification and bottling systems to villages and townships in developing countries. We partner with local municipalities and other local groups who, under our guidance and supervision, will operate the bottling and distribution center to provide clean drinking water to the people in the region at below market prices. Often, we find villages that are water-stressed are also without reliable electrical power. Our water and power hubs provide for true empowerment.

H2O 4 ALL's work is built on three pillars. First, our focus is on engagement, partnering with local community leaders to establish strong relationships and work together to address the issues they are facing. Second, we work to develop innovative tools, state-of-the-art, and affordable, appropriate technology. Finally, we believe in sustainable solutions to the water crisis that work over the long term.

Waterkeepers Chesapeake

Waterkeepers Chesapeake fights for clean water and a healthy environment by supporting Waterkeepers throughout the Chesapeake and coastal regions as they protect their communities, rivers, and streams from pollution.

Worldwide Aquaponics

Worldwide Aquaponics embraces the opportunities of space saving and sustainable food production. We produce high quality and nutritious vegetables and fruits in amounts 8 to 10 times greater than in soil. We believe Aquaponics provides tremendous opportunities for commercial and urban farmers.

WILD HOPE is a new series of short films highlighting the intrepid changemakers who are working to restore and protect our planet. Each half-hour episode inspires audiences with stories of bold interventions, unexpected alliances, and nature’s resilience. Whether tapping oysters to clean New York City waters and prevent flooding, or growing coffee to save Mozambican rainforests, the series reveals how local action can spark powerful change—and provides a refreshing dose of hope in an increasingly cynical world.

Project Drawdown

Helping the world reach “drawdown”—the point in the future when levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere stop climbing and start to steadily decline, thereby stopping catastrophic climate change—as quickly, safely, and equitably as possible.
